Zander Moricz (he/him)
Zander currently serves as a student activist and organizer in his role as the Executive Director of The Social Equity and Education (SEE) Alliance. While a student at Pine View High School in Sarasota, FL, he was elected their first openly gay class president and gained notoriety for his clever “curly hair” graduation speech in 2022. He is currently a first-year student at Harvard University. Zander is also the lead organizer of Walkout 2 Learn- a statewide action for students' rights on April 21.
Sheena Brook (she/her)
Sheena is a local LGBTQ singer/songwriter who has entertained audiences for decades across the country. Her music and live performances are captivating as she shares her personal journeys through life, love, and Loss. As a contestant on NBC’s season 12 of The Voice, she was selected by Adam Levine. She is also the founder of The F.E.M. Collective, an organization that hosts events in support of women and equality in the industry. Her mission through music is to empower the people around her to feel free and to be themselves without apology or fear.

GLSEN Collier
GLSEN Collier County is a local nonprofit that advocates for a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ-inclusive K-12 education for all students. With the support of a national network, this community-led chapter provides a variety of programming and events for queer youth in Collier County.
SHINE Team
The SHINE Team for GLSEN Collier County is a group of high school students who share a passion for LGBTQ activism. These student leaders meet regularly to plan the Youth Pride Conference and organize other local events while engaging with professionals in the community.
